MAAT: Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia, 2022

Concept design proposal for an exhibition, developed in collaboration with MAAT and submitted for the Museum's consideration.

Exhibition design project encompassing spatial planning, exhibition design, technical detailing, bespokefurniture, and graphic communication. The exhibition explores women's evolving role in society through the themes of industrial production, authenticity, and design, celebrating female identity with the concept of WOMAT “Ways Of Making Authentic Things''. The term breaks the link between “wo+man,” expressing a profound celebration of the timeless, autonomous feminine universe that can never be ignored.

    01. Exhibition Concept

    Inspired by the identity of MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology), the exhibition explores the relationship between technology, material production, and design. The spatial concept draws an abstract parallel between the female reproductive system and industrial processes, connecting machines and objects from graphic, industrial, and fashion design to celebrate authenticity, creation, and the transformative role of women.
